When lightning cuts across the sky,
the voice of God echoes in the thunder.
Powerless, humanity stands in awe
of The Almighty, intent only upon survival.
Having seen the fragile flickers of a full life
even one well-lived, the soul praises
the invisible God
with open eyes.

Really beautiful, Nor. thank you!
Hey there, Nor! This is truly beautiful! I love the images and the contrasts you’ve painted and shared with us here! Thanking GOD for giving you this gift, and thanking *you* for sharing it with us! — gracie
p.s. have I offended you? you mysteriously dropped off the radar (human radar, that is, certainly not GOD’s radar!) sometime late last summer)? please drop me a line and let me know you’re okay;-)
Not at all, Grace. I just have new job and have been working quite a bit. Strange as it may seem, I kind of feel like I dropped off here, too; nearly everything I have published in about the six months or so I wrote six to nine months ago. Or something.
Anyway. I have a new phone. So, send me a txt msg when you get a chance!!!
