At the suggestion of a friend, I have added podcasts of my posts for the visually impaired. So if you are sighted and you know someone who is blind that might like to listen, please share. Or just enjoy them yourself.

Cool. Let me know what you think.
listened to “when lightning strikes” – powerful. hard to swallow, though.
I get that a lot. And I always have the same answer: “How do you think I felt living it…?”
Keep listening. It’ll come. Give it time.
Actually, I’m sitting here wondering…Why is it so hard for you to swallow? Which part? That I lost a friend–who had been sexually abused as a child–to suicide and then invited an accused rapist into my house for a Bible study? Is that what you were talking about? The part that is “hard to swallow?”
If so, then…Well, isn’t that The Gospel? I mean…I’m just thinking out loud here, Mandy…but, you know that Christ died for the sins of the world, right? So is it really so difficult to believe that He died for people who have been accused of atrocities like rape…?
I just listened to “Why This Storm”. I hadn’t considered before that if good things were the “reward” for being good or for believing then that would be the reason people believed. That is very true. Very insightful. I suppose in a grand sense that is true for many if not most Christians. The promise of heaven vs. the certainty of hell has brought many to their knees. But, that isn’t so tangible. It isn’t in our face every day so still requires our faith.
I do appreciate the podcasts. It is much easier for me to listen than to read. You do a great job at reading them too. Keep ‘em coming!
Thanks for stopping by, j3. And I’ll do my best to keep those podcasts coming.
I can’t figure out how to do this…I download but where did it go? It’s embarrassing.
Don’t be embarassed. Just do what I do: Sent Brent an e-mail and ask him how to do it!
Heck, those podcasts wouldn’t even BE here if it weren’t for him!
